Star Trek - The Original Series - Scott's Toys & Collectables

Star Trek was first produced by Paramount Television from January 1968 to June 1969 and aired on NBC from September 8, 1966, to June 3, 1969

The show created by Gene Roddenberry ran for three seasons and starred, William Shatner as Captain Kirk, Leonard Nimoy as Spock, James Doohan as Scotty, Nichelle Nichols as Uhura and DeForest Kelley as McCoy

A spin off animated series was produced in 1973 and ran for two seasons

The original pilot of the show ‘The Cage’ which was produced in 1965 remained under lock and key until it was released on video in October 1988 for Star Treks upcoming 20th anniversary
